Description: Project includes the construction of an asphalt multi-use path. This includes installing curbs, curb ramps, drainage structures, signs, striping, crosswalks, and pedestrian signals between the intersection of Cherry Avenue Extension (NY 140) with Kenwood Avenue to the intersection of Cherry Avenue Extension (NY 140) and New Scotland Road. Bid deposit 5% of Base Bid. Contract Documents, including Invitation to Bidders, Instructions to Bidders, Wage Rates, Bid Documents, Agreement, Special Notes, Specifications, Contract Drawings, and any Addenda, may be obtained via Bidnet. Hard copies of the bid documents will not be provided. This is a Federal-Aid project, and Federal requirements will prevail. Subcontracting is permitted as described in Section 108-05 of the Standard Specifications of the Dept. of Transportation. The use of Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprises is encouraged but not explicitly required. No questions or inquiries regarding this bid will be accepted within three (3) business days prior to the bid opening.
