This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Paty 12. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for commercial waste removal and recycling services at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) facilities at Morgantown, WV.
The RFQ is expected to be released at the end of November 2024. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with a base year and four 1-year option periods. The period of performance will be:
Base: 2/1/2025 through 1/31/2026
Option 1: 2/1/2026through 1/31/2027
Option 2: 2/1/2027 through 1/31/2028
Option 3: 2/1/2028 through 1/31/2029
Option 4: 2/1/2029 through 1/31/2030
Specific locations and additional scope of work details are included in the attached Statement of Work.
The Government anticipates that this will be a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562111, Solid Waste Collection, and small business size standard of $47 million. Interested offerors are invited to submit their small business size status to the email address listed below.
