Virtual Energy Assessment Solution

Description of goods to services to be bid:

In this solicitation, NYSERDA seeks proposals for a market-ready virtual residential energy assessment tool that can be deployed at scale across New York State. A market-ready solution includes products that are currently available and can be used as is (i.e. “off the shelf”), or are readily adaptable to meet the needs of the New York State market for the proposed project with minimal investment in tool, software, or product development.

Through this funding opportunity, NYSERDA seeks to rapidly scale adoption of virtual energy assessment strategies that lead to sales of energy efficiency and clean energy home improvements. NYSERDA is not seeking to offer remote energy assessments.

Tool features should be able to collect and analyze remotely available data to create an easy-to-understand virtual home energy assessment with limited to no homeowner interaction and provide energy efficiency measure upgrade recommendations.

Preferred that the solution be an off the shelf software that can be made available statewide within 6-9 months
