Synopsis:

Living Sky School Division, through RMIS Engineering, is accepting sealed electronic bids for the roof replacement at Norman Carter School in Wilkie, SK. Work includes removing approx. 20,675 ft² (1,921 m²) of the existing inverted BUR roof system and installing a new SBS roof system. Completion is required by May 29, 2026. A mandatory site review will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Bids (with 10% bid security) must be submitted by email to engineering@rmiseng.ca no later than 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Hard copies will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Sealed bids are invited by RMIS Engineering (RMIS) on behalf of Living Sky School Division for the roof replacement project at Norman Carter School.

The scope of work includes:

  • Removal of approximately 20,675 ft² (1,921 m²) of the existing inverted BUR roof system.
  • Installation of a new SBS roof system.

Bid Requirements:

  • Bids must be submitted as a stipulated sum; partial or incomplete bids will not be accepted.
  • Limited unit price work is included.
  • A bid security of 10% of the bid amount is required.
  • Bidders must be qualified contractors and certified applicators with an approved manufacturer.

Schedule:

  • Anticipated start: Upon award of contract.
  • Completion deadline: May 29, 2026.
  • Mandatory site review: Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Attendance is required for bid consideration.

  • Bids and amendments must be submitted electronically by email to engineering@rmiseng.ca no later than 2:00 PM (Local Time), Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
  • Hard copies will not be accepted.
