The City of Steamboat Springs is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals, institutes, firms, or organizations to assist the city in our ongoing efforts to enact best-practice strategies to support the development of affordable and attainable housing, particularly in areas that are served by current, and planned future public transportation service. The (“Project”) will seek extensive public and partner engagement to ensure new policies, programs, and land use regulations further community priorities documented in the Steamboat Springs Community Plan and align underlying land use codes with the community’s vision for the future. Additionally, the project will design and launch two new programs: 1) incentives and resources to further support the development of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and 2) Regional Housing Partnership land assessment and development pipeline.
