Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Franklin Keywords: Tree Work Bid Description: VILLAGE OF SWANTON REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR TREE REMOVAL/ MAINTENANCE To: Qualified Tree Service Firms From: William Sheets, Swanton Village Manager Date: November 2024 RE: Tree Removal and Maintenance in Village Green Park The Village of Swanton hereby requests bids from qualified vendors for the removal of approximately 7 large conifer trees in the Village Green. Estimates will be used for budgeting and grant application purposes. A mandatory site visit to the Village Green, 36 Grand Avenue, for bidders is scheduled for December 5 at 9:00am to discuss the details of the desired work. Estimates should offer professional opinion that removal is, or is not, the best option and if not, then offer an alternative treatment option Sealed bids must be received by December 12th by 2:00pm.
