Creative Placemaking & Public Art Consulting Services

The Essex County Land Bank (ECLB), in partnership with the North Country Rural Development Coalition (NRDC), is seeking proposals from qualified consultants for a multi-year creative placemaking and public art contract to serve Ticonderoga and other Essex County communities.

The selected partner will lead a public art initiative designed to stabilize blighted properties, promote downtown revitalization, and support affordable housing goals. This effort builds on the success of the Walls Between Waters mural festival and will help expand that impact county-wide.

?? This project is fully funded through competitive grant programs, including NYS Homes & Community Renewal (HCR), NYS Council on the Arts (NYSCA), the Charles R. Wood Foundation, and the Essex County Arts Council. No county appropriations, ARPA funds, or program income are being used.
