Butts Road Intermediate School Media Center HVAC Replacement

The Project Work is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, (1) Demolition, to include the removal of two (2) existing 8.75 ton, vertical, water source heat pumps serving the Media Center; disconnection of the supply and return ductwork connections and duct mounted smoke detectors; removal of the condensate drain and condenser water piping; removal of the existing electrical power feed, as required; and disconnection of Controls from units. (2) New Work, to include the installation of package rooftop units of equal capacity with hot gas reheat. New units to be roof mounted, gas heat, electric cool, units mounted on curbs. Installation of new electrical power feeds, as required; installation of new condensate drain piping; reconnection of unit to existing supply and return duct; and provide new duct smoke detectors. New Automatic Temperature Controls to include simple reconnection to existing. Provide for miscellaneous structural support on roof to accommodate the new HVAC unit. Flash new curbs into roof and
maintain current roof warranty.
