General Description
The City of Greenville will receive sealed bid quotes for the purchase of a Combination
Sewer Cleaner Truck with a Hydro Excavation Package. This truck must be tandem axel
with a 12-yard debris tank, PD blower, 1500-gallon freshwater tanks, 600’ of 1” jetter
hose, and remote controls for boom.

the bids tab. Any and all questions regarding this bid shall be directed to the principal

Bids are due 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 10, 2025

Please submit your sealed bids using the attached bid form, as well as all other requested
information. One copy of the bid shall be delivered to:

Evaluation of Bids
The City will review submitted bids and other relevant information (cost, best value for the
municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the products to which the City wishes
to purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or no
reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the
City of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the bid
selection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process.
Selection of Bids
It is anticipated that this agreement will be considered by City Council on February 17,
2026.
The “Total Amount Proposed” cost will be valid for a minimum of 60 days after the bid
opening date and prospective vendors will be held to the price presented.
Awarding bidder must complete procurement to the City of Greenville within forty-five (45)
business days after awarded bid.
Scope of Work
The City of Greenville will accept bids for the purchase of a Combination Sewer Cleaner
Truck with a Hydro Excavation Package. This truck must meet the following specifications
and accessories.
Tandem axel
Mud flaps
12-yard debris tank
PD blower
1500-gallon freshwater tanks
Water tanks manufactured from non-corrosive material
Water tanks must be baffled
Freshwater tank sight glass or level indicator
Cold weather water recirculating function
600’ of 1” jetter hose
Remote control for boom
Telescoping boom or equivalent
Complete set of stinger/suction tubes with rack
Front mounted jetter hose reel
Thre (3) various jetter nozzles
Front hose reel camera and rear back up camera

No sales tax may be added to the bid price, as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt.
Any shipping costs for merchandise must be paid by the vendor, as part of the bid amount
proposed. Additionally, the final proposed total cost covers the entire scope of the project.
