Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Senior Care Economice Data

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes-proposals.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), on behalf of the Office of Risk Management and Regulatory Affairs (ORMRA), intends to negotiate a sole-source agreement with NIC MAP Vision, LLC of Raleigh, NC, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This section of FAR permits solicitation from a single source when only one responsible vendor can meet the agency's requirements. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire NIC MAP DATA Online Subscription Services for ORMRA.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) plans to award a five-year contract, consisting of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option years, on a firm-fixed-price, sole-source basis to NIC MAP Vision, LLC, a Small Business.

The NAICS Code is 519290 - Web Search Portals and All Other Information Services – primarily to provide data subscription contractor support services to provide unlimited online database access to key economic forecast data, pertaining to Senior Housing and Nursing Home Care Price Index forecast data by Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).

Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.

This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.

Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above for the Office of Risk Management and Regulatory Affairs (ORMRA) may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
