Bear Mountain Bridge Deck Replacement Construction Inspection Services

The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting technical/cost proposals for “Construction Inspection Services” for the deck replacement project at the Bear Mountain Bridge. This 2,225-foot-long suspension bridge carries NYS Routes 6 and 202 over the Hudson River between Fort Montgomery and Peekskill, NY. The existing deck is 6” CIP standard concrete in the girder, truss and suspension spans. Deck removal will be performed in three (3) stages. All job records shall be maintained in accordance with NYSDOT M.U.R.K.

Firms possessing demonstrable expertise in these areas of construction inspection are invited to submit a technical proposal and cost proposal. All inquiries for the RFP shall be made by emailing Teresa Ceragioli, Assistant to the Chief Engineer, at tceragioli@nysba.ny.gov with your “Expression of Interest” and include your firm's complete contact information. A preliminary contract plan “HYPERLINK” is included on page 1 of the RFP.

All firms submitting a proposal shall present evidence of qualification and experience. Firms shall comply with the terms of the RFP, which includes Equal Employment Opportunity, M/WBE and SDVOB goals.
