BID 2026-15: Evidence Facility
Sealed proposals will be received by the Newton County Commission, hereinafter called the "Owner", until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7th, 2026. Mail-in bids should be addressed to Newton County Commission, Courthouse, 101 S. Wood Steet, Neosho, MO. Hand-carried bids will be collected the day of the opening at the Newton County Sheriff’s Office until 2:00 p.m. All bids that were received prior to the 2:00 p.m. deadline will be opened publicly at the Newton County Sheriff’s Office (208 W. Coler Street, Neosho, Missouri), for furnishing all labor and materials for the construction of the Evidence Facility.
Bids shall be clearly marked as “Bid 2026-15 Construction of new Evidence Facility”.
Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13th, 2026. Bidders shall meet at the project location, 208 W. Coler Street, Neosho, Missouri.
Plans and specifications may be obtained by an electronic link furnished by Architect (info@cornergreer.com). Successful bidder shall be responsible for purchasing and/or furnishing all plans, specifications and required documents for construction of the project.
A character and amount of security to be furnished by such bidder is stated below:
A cashier’s check, a certified check or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal.
Requests for Information & Substitution Requests shall be received prior to Thursday, April 30th, 2026.
