Project Description: The City of Bowling Green is soliciting bids under its Neighbor Improvement Program for right-of-way improvements within Census Block Group 102.4. The project includes construction of new sidewalk along Jackson Street, replacement of existing non-compliant sidewalk segments, and concrete pavement repairs on Beauty Avenue. Improvements are intended to enhance pedestrian safety, accessibility, and neighborhood connectivity.
Work includes demolition, grading, subgrade preparation, concrete sidewalk and pavement construction, ADA-compliant ramps, traffic control, site restoration, and all associated labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal standards.
This project is funded in part by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and is subject to all applicable federal labor standards, including Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
