Project Description: The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky Parks & Recreation Department is soliciting bids for the furnishing and installation of one (1) 150 kW diesel standby generator system at the Kummer Little Recreation Center located at 333 College Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky. The project includes providing a complete, turnkey standby power system rated for 277/480-volt service with a 600-amp automatic transfer switch.
Work includes site preparation, unclassified excavation, construction of a reinforced concrete equipment pad, underground conduit and wiring, integration with the existing electrical service, and restoration of disturbed areas. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, testing, startup, and training required to deliver a fully operational emergency power system.
The generator system shall include a minimum 48-hour sub-base fuel tank, NEMA 4 enclosure, vibration isolation, battery charger, and block heater. Complete startup, commissioning, and load testing will be required to demonstrate proper system operation.
