NOTICE TO PROPOSERS

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Forrest County, Mississippi, will receive

sealed proposals until 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2026, for Security Officer Services

for the Forrest County Department of Human Services Building.

The above shall be proposed upon per detailed specifications on file in the Office of the

Purchase Clerk, P.O. Box 1310, 641 N. Main Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39403-1310, (601) 545-

6078, which may be obtained by visiting www.forrestcountymsbids.com. Proposers must use

proposal forms furnished by Forrest County. Proposals submitted otherwise may be rejected.

Electronic proposals may be submitted at www.forrestcountymsbids.com, if available.

Each proposal submitted in person must be received in a sealed envelope which is marked in

the lower left-hand corner with the word “PROPOSAL” and the “NAME OF THE SERVICE” on

which the proposal is being made and the “DATE OF PROPOSAL OPENING.”

The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received and to waive

informalities. The award will be made to the proposer whose proposal is determined to be the

lowest and best and/or the best value to Forrest County, subject to the provisions of Section 31-

7-13, Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended, and other applicable state law.
