The Department of War Information Activity (DWIA), formerly known as Defense Media Activity (DMA), is the Department of War’s (DoW) consolidated media organization. Its mission is to provide information products to DoW personnel, their families, and the public across all media platforms. This media is critical for news production, live streaming, and broadcasts on the American Forces Network (AFN) and social media channels.
