Project Description: The project includes, but is not limited to: the design, permitting, and construction of wastewater treatment process improvements to achieve treated R-1 wastewater effluent that satisfies the water quality standards set forth in “Reuse Guidelines, Volume 1: Recycled Water Facilities,” prepared by the Wastewater Branch, Hawai’i Department of Health dated January 2016 no later than February 28, 2029.
