Alpha Technologies, Ltd., Carmanah Technologies and Temple, Inc. Traffic Equipment

Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement with to Temple, Inc. for the provision of Carmanah solar traffic products, Alpha’s Traffic/ITS BBS products and Temple made products and services.

In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.

Per correspondence from Carmanah dated October 7, 2023, Temple, Inc. is the authorized sole source for Carmanah Solar Traffic Products in Florida. Temple, Inc. is also the exclusive distributor for Alpha Technologies line of Traffic/ITS UPS/Battery Backup System (including, but not limited to, FXM-HP series, XTV batteries, SE48-xxxx enclosures, AlphaGuard and Remote Battery Monitoring System).
Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified.
