REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

FOR TREE PLANTING

FALL 2025

South Orange Village is soliciting proposals for TREE PLANTING FOR FALL OF 2025 . Proposals must be received no later than Tuesday, September 16, 2025,  at 10:00 AM at which time they will be opened publicly and read out loud.  They should be addressed to the attention of Ellen Malgieri, Purchasing Agent. Proposals must be clearly marked on the outside “Tree Planting Fall 2025.” Copies of the RFP may be obtained on the Village Website, www.southorange.org .

South Orange Village reserves the right to waive informalities or

irregularities in the proposal received and to reject any and/or all proposals as in

its judgement may best serve the interest of the Village. The Village shall

have a minimum of sixty (60) days from receipt of the proposals to either accept

or reject them.

The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the requirements of P.L.

1975, c.127. Pursuant to P.L. 2004, c.57, effective September 1, 2004, the

successful bidder shall also be required to comply with the provision of the new

Business Registration Law.
