Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has established a goal to disrupt the fentanyl market in the U.S. The DHS Science & Technology Directorate (S&T), in partnership with the Customs and Border Protection (CBP), aims to enhance CBP’s organizational response by better positioning the organization to identify threat networks and disrupt, degrade, or dismantle their operations that threaten the homeland.

S&T is seeking responses on innovative ways to effectively conduct an organizational diagnostic of CBP with regards to the fentanyl epidemic, as well as development and implementation of an operational framework.

The focus of the organizational analysis leverages previous organizational and cultural workforce development executed at CBP, specifically, the Team of Teams approach to organizational leadership and workforce training.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research and inform new organizational leadership and design philosophies to bolster the federal law enforcement response to the fentanyl epidemic at our nation’s borders. Results of this RFI will be used as market research for potential future procurements.
