The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to identify interested institutions/contractors who are currently in possession of aircraft suitable for aviation operations to support flying currency for qualified USAF pilots. Services shall be available within 30 minutes of any USAF Fighter Wing.
This RFI is for Market Research purposes only. IAW OSD Guidance for Continuation of Operations During a Lapse of Appropriations dated 19 Dec 24, these services are considered an excepted activity.
Aircraft must be configured for services without major modification. Contract structure is intended to be a commercial lease. All potential operations will be considered Civil Aircraft Operations permitted by the FAA. Services shall not be training in nature but allow access to the aircraft for non-qualifying flight operations to improve airmanship.
In response to this RFI, please provide a 2-page description of capabilities, number of aircraft, and include any FAA Airworthiness Certificates for aircraft currently owned by the responding contractor.
