NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HERE BY GIVEN that sealed Bids will be received by the Board of
Commissioners of the Town of West New York, County of Hudson, State of New Jersey on
February 24, 2026 at 11:30 A.M. prevailing time in the Town Clerk's Office in the Municipal
Building, 428-60th Street, West New York, N.J. for:
Emergency Supplemental Snow Removal Services
All requests for specifications must be made by e-mail request to QPA Veronica Zubiaga
(vzubiaga@westnewyorknj.org). Requestor must Provide business name, contact person and
contact information (address, telephone and email address). Other questions about obtaining copies
of the Electronic Bid Documents, can be addressed to QPA Veronica Zubiaga at telephone number
(201) 295-5145 during regular business from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bids for said Contract must
be based upon and in strict accordance with the aforesaid specifications.
Each bid must be submitted on the provided forms and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the
name and address of the bidder. The bid must be addressed to the Town of West New York and
plainly marked Emergency Supplemental Snow Removal Services
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C.
17:27.
Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond drawn to the order of
the “Town of West New York” for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in
excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A.
40A:11-21.
Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder
and its subcontractors (if applicable), if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and
Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids, in
accordance with applicable law.
