  • Summary:This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks to solicit proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

    Virginia Tech manages approximately 2,200 students researching, interning, or studying abroad each year and 2,000 faculty and staff conducting University research and initiatives abroad. There is a high need for a digital registry that can be accessed by multiple University administrators, supports complete itineraries, and interfaces with Virginia Tech’s personnel systems. The tool must be able to support dashboarding summary data and mapping to assist in the quick, location-based contact rosters, and must have a response capacity that includes SMS check-in communications and centralized storage of e-mail communications for a system of record for response efforts.
