Property Auto Liability Insurance FY25-26

The City of New Haven is soliciting proposals from qualified insurance providers or brokers to manage its Property and Auto Liability Insurance program. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive protection for municipal properties and fleet vehicles, with a focus on financial stability, prompt claims handling, and streamlined policy administration.

The selected vendor will be responsible for placing and managing coverage, maintaining accurate records of covered assets, facilitating prompt and proper claims reporting, and providing regular updates to support transparency and risk management oversight. The City of New Haven is also seeking assistance in streamlining communication between insurers, adjusters, and relevant municipal departments to facilitate the timely resolution of claims.
