Inland Fisheries Electrofishing Research Vessel
We are seeking an 18-foot boat with an aluminum hull, outboard motor, complete electro-fishing system, and a variety of features to enhance safety and functionality. Please see the included specifications sheet for more details on required and preferred features. The electro-fishing boat will be used by Fisheries Division staff primarily to conduct fish community samples in freshwater habitats. Fisheries managers use electro-fishing to stun fish so they can be netted, placed into a live-well on board, processed for data collection, and then be released unharmed.
