Scope of Work: The City of Oakland (City) is soliciting bids from qualified, experienced, and bonded firms in the State of California that are certified by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), with at least one (1) International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, to respond to tree emergencies and abate tree hazards via tree pruning, tree removal or other means. Tree work under this contract will be performed on an as-needed basis and as directed by the Supervisor through work/task orders. Contractor may be required to perform the work described at various sites throughout the City, on both public and private property. Services may be required after regular business hours, on weekends, and during storm events. The work could be standalone work in any of the bid items. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to safely perform services according to ANSI standards including, but not limited to, those described here.
