Riverfest Park Soccer Renovation Design - Build - De Soto, KS

The Parks and Recreation Department of De Soto, Kansas is soliciting Design-Build services for the improvements at the Riverfest Park Soccer Renovation project and will receive sealed Technical Approach and Price Submittals until until the above time ("Bid Due Date"). Sealed proposals will be received from Bidders by the City of De Soto, (hereinafter referred to as the Owner), at De Soto City Hall, 32905 W. 84th Street, De Soto, Kansas, for the construction of Riverfest Park Soccer Renovations. The outside of the envelope/package for the Technical Approach Submittal shall include Bidder's name and address and shall be labeled “Invitation for Bid – Technical Approach Submittal for Riverfest Park Improvements.”

Scope. The project Scope of Work includes the following: Provide design and construction to build a seeded 400’x400’ soccer field, gravel parking lot, ADA parking, fencing, associated walkways, and infrastructure. Construction plans, Specifications, Material Designations, De Soto codes compliance and permitting, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Warranty Information and “As-Builts” of the finished improvements are required. Technical Approach Submittal and Price Submittal due in separate sealed envelopes/packages addressed to the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department, De Soto City Hall, 32905 W. 84th Street, De Soto, Kansas. The Technical Approach Submittal cannot contain any reference to the cost of the project. The outside of the envelope/package for the Price Submittal shall include Bidder's name and address and shall be labeled "Invitation for Bid – Price Submittal for Riverfest Park Soccer Improvements.”

Pre-Bid Conference. The City will hold one (1) Pre-Bid Conference at the above time, at the De Soto City Hall, 32905 W. 84th Street, De Soto, Kansas. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is recommended but not required for all Bidders on this Project. Not available as an online meeting.

Public Bid Opening of Price Submittal is on December 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM, at De Soto City Hall, 32905 W. 84th Street, De Soto, Kansas.
