Classification and Compensation Study

The City of Tega Cay (“City”) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive Classification and Compensation Study. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued in accordance with procurement procedures for the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and negotiate with one or more Offerors if deemed in the City’s best interest.  Questions are due (must be emailed to Dora Perry ) by no later than 5:00 PM (EST), June 17, 2026. All responses to this request must be received no later than 2:00 PM EST, June 30, 2026.  Qualifications received after this date and time shall be returned unopened.

1. Can the City clarify whether the Organizational and Staffing review is intended as a high-
level benchmark review, or more a detailed staffing/workload analysis by department?

2. Will the Human Resources Manager, Dora Perry, also serve as the Citys primary project
manager and main point of contact during the study? Or will another City representative
serve in that role after award?

3. When was the Citys last study completed and which firm completed the study?
2022
4. Does the City have a budget or anticipated cost range for this project and can that
information be shared with proposers?
