7/20/26-6/30/27 - OOD Security Equipment Inspections and Maintenance

Formal quote must be attached to be deemed responsive and should reference any applicable state contract and/or catalog numbers that can be associated with this project.

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking to contract with a single security vendor who can provide security equipment installation and removal, semi-annual inspections, and maintenance at all OOD offices throughout the State of Ohio.

A) OOD shall base the award on lowest cost.

B) OOD will also base the award on the respondent that is responsive, responsible, and able to complete the work described in the summary.

C) A formal quote must be attached.

D) Contractor shall complete and submit the Certification Statements form if seeking a Buy America, Buy Ohio, and/or a Veterans Preference. If not seeking a preference, Respondent does not need to return the attached form.

Mailed, emailed, or faxed responses will NOT be accepted.

Optional Question and Answer Session
Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities  (OOD) will be hosting an OPTIONAL question and answer session to give Respondents an opportunity to discuss the requirements of the solicitation. The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 1:PM to 2:00 PM via Microsoft TEAMS. Questions and answers will be posted in OhioBuys after the question and answer session for Contractors who were unable to attend. Please refer to the attached RFQ for further details.
