The purpose of this project is to implement traffic signal system upgrades at 44 intersections throughout the City of Brentwood as part of a Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) improvement initiative. The upgrades will include the installation of new signal equipment, video detection systems, accessible pedestrian signals (APS), and ADA-compliant curb ramps where required. Additionally, traffic signal timing will need to be programmed to optimize intersection operations and improve overall traffic flow. The project aims to enhance traffic flow, reduce congestion, and improve pedestrian safety at key intersections, while ensuring compliance with Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) standards. The project length is 1.055 miles. The proposal contract specifies a completion time of on or before 270 calendar days after the start notice is issued.
