Description
The Department of the Interior, United States Geological Survey (USGS), Eastern Ecological Science Center (EESC) plans to award a non-competitive purchase order to Illumina, based in San Diego, CA for one (1) Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System (Catalog No. 20115695), including onboard touchscreen interface, integrated computing, DRAGEN secondary analysis pipelines, and 12 month warranty (parts and labor).
Delivery Date: 60 days after receipt of order
The Eastern Ecological Science Center has a need for the Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus sequencing system to support high priority genetics based projects. The Center has used Illumina methodologies for many ongoing projects and requires the MiSeq i100 Plus System for continuity of publishable data. Illumina has proprietary control over its software (including DRAGEN pipelines), hardware, consumables, and all associated sequencing chemistry. These components are not cross-compatible with instruments or consumables manufactured by any other company.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
