Marketing Services Promoting Tallahassee, Florida as the Magnetics Capital of the World

Project Description: The Office of Economic Vitality, an office within the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency serves as the City of Tallahassee and Leon County’s economic development agency as defined in Section 288.075, Florida Statutes. Pursuant to OEV’s Economic Development Strategic Plan (revised 2022), and Florida State University’s Aspire Plan, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory or MagLab, is considered an asset to OEV’s targeted industry sectors and promotes economic development projects.
OEV is seeking a marketing firm to provide comprehensive marketing services for Tallahassee, Florida, and one of its key assets, Magnetic Technologies. The selected firm will be tasked with improving brand recognition, fostering community awareness, targeted industry marketing, and promoting Tallahassee as the “Magnetics Capital of the World” through a multimedia strategy. OEV and Florida State University Research Foundation, Inc. (“FSURF”) are partnering on this initiative to enhance Tallahassee’s image as the “Magnetics Capital of the World”. Tallahassee is home to the MagLab which is the largest and highest-powered magnet laboratory in the world and is the only facility of its kind in the United States.
