A Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit is scheduled for this contract on December 11, 2024, starting PROMPTLY at 10:00 a.m. in the lobby of the Placerville Jail located at 300 Forni Road, Placerville, California 95667.
All Bidders attending the Pre-Bid Site Visit will be subject to a background check and must submit the following documents to gain entry into the Placerville Jail. 1.) A copy of the Bidder’s valid driver’s license. This is required for all parties attending. 2.) A signed PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) & Custodial Sexual Misconduct Volunteers & Contractors (included in the Supplemental Instructions to Bidders). 3.) A SIGNED EL DORADO COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY – NO HOSTAGE POLICY VISITOR – TOUR – VOLUNTEER – CONTRACTOR (INCLUDED IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS). THE DOCUMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOVEMBER 22, 2024 AT 5:00 P.M. AND SHALL BE SENT DIRECTLY TO LIEUTENANT JON ESLICK WITH A CC TO TYLER PRINCE AT THE EMAILS BELOW. In the subject line of the email please state: Background check documents for the Pre-Bid meeting on December 11, 2024 for the Fire Alarm Device Upgrade at the Placerville Jail. eslickj@edso.org tyler.prince@edcgov.us Bidders will not be allowed to attend the Pre-Bid Site Visit if the above-mentioned documents are not received by November 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Bidders will not be allowed to attend the Pre-Bid Site Visit if they don’t pass the background check. Bidders can’t submit a proposal if they don’t attend the Pre-Bid Site Visit. ATTENDANCE AT THE PRE-BID SITE VISIT IS MANDATORY. REPRESENTATIVES SHALL FOLLOW COUNTY COVID 19 POLICY WHILE ON COUNTY PREMISES WHICH MAY INCLUDE THE USE OF FACE COVERINGS. PLEASE REFER TO COUNTY POLICY E-13 AVAILABLE AT: https://www.edcgov.us/Government/BOS/Documents/Board%20Policy%20E-13.pdf. The Bidder’s representative will be required to sign an attendance sheet and provide the name of the firm being represented. The County will post on the Quest website such Addenda as the County in its discretion considers necessary in response to questions arising and information presented at the Pre-Bid Site Visit. Oral statements shall not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. Addenda issued as a result of the Pre-Bid Site Visit shall constitute the sole and exclusive record and statement of the results of the Pre-Bid Visit. |
