2025 Paving Project

Project Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed Proposals for the East Whiteland Township for the 2025 Road Repairs will be received online via the PennBid Program by East Whiteland Township until 1:00 P.M., prevailing time, on March 28, 2025. Upon review of submitted Bids, results will be posted online at PennBid website.
Bidding Documents and solicitation details are available online, at no cost, at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. PennBid charges an award fee of 1/3% (.0033) of the initial con-tract award amount to the awarded contractor.
Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. Bids shall be effective for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.
The project generally comprises of milling and overlay of Township roadways, line painting, base repair, placing leveling course, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, on March 14, 2025, at the owner's office.
Attendance at the Pre-bid meeting is not required, but it is recommended.
Questions will be accepted until 3:00 P.M., prevailing time, on March 18, 2025; All questions must be submitted through PennBid.
The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry.
Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified.
Bidder must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor as specified in Section 102.01 of Publication 408.
The OWNER hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid.
