NOTICE TO BIDDERS

SEALED BIDS on forms prepared will be received at the City of Krum (310 W. McCart St., Krum, Tx. 76249) until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on June 18, 2026, for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and the performance of all work required for:

FM 1173 UTILITY RELOCATION

At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and retained by the city representative for tabulation, checking and evaluation.

COMPLETED BID FORMS Shall be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank Bid forms furnished in the Construction Specifications. Sealed envelopes shall be marked: “REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – FM 1173 UTILITY RELOCATION” – DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 10:00 A.M. ON JUNE 18, 2026.

BIDDERS Should carefully examine the plans, specifications and other documents; visit the site of the work; fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters that can in any way affect the work or the cost thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies or omissions from the plans, specifications or any other documents or should he/she be in doubt as to the meaning, he/she should at once notify the City’s representative and obtain clarification prior to submitting any bid.

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS and contract documents may be examined without charge at the City of Krum, City Hall (310 W. McCart St.) Public Works Department.   Proposers may secure copies of Bid Documents by contacting the Project Coordinator, Jennifer Winchester at jwinchester@parkhill.com . Additional information can be found at https://parkhill.com/projects-for-bid .  Documents may be downloaded from Parkhill’s Info Exchange website after registering as a plan holder with Project Coordinator stipulated in Item 1 above. There is no cost or deposit required for this option.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE

A mandatory pre-bid conference for the project will be held at 10:00 am on June 4, 2026 at Krum Council Chambers at Krum City Hall located at 310 W McCart Street, Krum, TX 76249.  Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Krum may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to select a bid best suited to City of Krum’ best interest.
