Summary

The State of Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries is requesting quotes for Thompson Bishop Spark Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory 890 Simms Road Auburn, AL 36832 for Water Softener Maintenance.

Water Softener Maintenance Specifications

Scope Of Work: Monthly maintenance service for an existing Hellenbrand Model H300-750 Water softener system with a 42-inch X 48-inch salt/brine tank and an existing Hellenbrand Reverse Osmosis water system.

Service To include The Following :

1. Measurement of the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of the incoming tap water/Domestic Water Supply, the soft water output from the Hellenbrand Water Softener System, and the output from the Hellenbrand Reverse Osmosis Water System.
2. Add salt to the salt tank as needed to maintain the level of salt in the tank between one-third and three-quarters full.  Salt will be provided by the diagnostic laboratory.
3. Replace filters (incoming water supply filter, sediment filter, carbon filter, and membrane filters) as needed for the Hellenbrand Reverse Osmosis System.

4. Provide a monthly written service report to the diagnostic laboratory.
