Description: |
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) requires the procurement of a High Purity Germanium (HPGe) gamma spectroscopy detector system to support radiological analysis activities conducted by the Bureau of Laboratories. The system will be utilized for the detection, identification, and quantification of gamma-emitting radionuclides in environmental samples as part of the Commonwealth’s environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance programs.
To meet these analytical requirements, PA DEP seeks to procure a GC4018 7500 Slimline HPGe detector system and associated components manufactured and supplied by Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc. Bidders are required to complete and return the “Reciprocal Limitations Form” electronically attached to the IFB file. Reference see Title 62 Pa C.S. Section 107. WORKER PROTECTION AND INVESTMENT CERTIFICATION FORM
A. Pursuant to Executive Order 2021-06, Worker Protection and Investment (October 21, 2021), the Commonwealth is responsible for ensuring that every worker in Pennsylvania has a safe and healthy work environment and the protections afforded them through labor laws.
