Overview
Summary

In general, the successful bidder will provide snow removal services for the City Parks and Recreation Department Trail system for the Arkansas River Trail (from Lake Pueblo Division of Wildlife border to Fay's Crossing bridge) and the loop around Lake Runyon (see map in attachments).

Services shall also include satellite trails from the Arkansas River Trail to City Park, La Cross Avenue Parking lot, Main Street parking lot, and the Pueblo Boulevard parking lot.

The snow removal service shall include all plowing equipment, any additional equipment necessary, materials, supplies, labor, administration, and insurance necessary to perform the service as listed within this invitation for bid (IFB).

Background

It is anticipated that the City will receive a grant from the Colorado Lottery up to $20,000 per calendar year for this project.

If grant funding is not received from the Colorado Lottery, services shall be at the sole discretion of the City depending on fund availability, manpower, time, etc. as determined to best meet the needs of the City. Contractor must receive direct approval from City's Project Manager prior to performing any services under this project.

This will be a guided site visit to view some of the access points to the trail.

You must contact the Purchasing Department at purchasing@pueblo.us if you are interested in participating.

Bidder's must utilize their own vehicle to follow the City's Project Manager around town to the various access points. The meeting will begin at the City Park Maintenance Compound located at 150 City Park Ave., Pueblo, CO, 81005.
