Pre-Advertisement Notice for Traveling Screens Repairs & Services

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management (DWM) will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process compromised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB) towards the procurement to prepare and analyze experienced and technically qualified vendors to perform maintenance, repairs, and related services on traveling screens and bar screens at City facilities. These mechanical systems are essential for removing debris at water intake points and ensuring uninterrupted, compliant, and safe operations of critical watershed infrastructure. Interested firms will be evaluated during the prequalification phase to determine whether they meet the minimum requirements for firm experience, team and key personnel qualifications .The City¿s expectation is that the selected vendor will provide secure reliable, specialized service providers capable of supplying, installing, maintaining, and repairing traveling screens and bar screens, thereby maintaining operational efficiency, protecting equipment, reducing downtime, and ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance across DWM facilities.
