Description
Submissions marked "COR7129 – 2025 Supply of Portland Cement" will be received by the City of Regina (see Part 1.5.1 of the RFP), no later than 2:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on February 14, 2025.
The City requires the supply of Portland Cement Concrete to be used by Roadways & Transportation, Water Works, Facilities Management Services, and other departments in order to maintain the City of Regina’s (City) infrastructure. The material supplied through the annual contract will be utilized for the repair and replacement of concrete structures in our utility cuts, capital, and concrete distress programs.
Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:
Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement
There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.
Concrete and slurry mixtures supplied through the award of this contract will be utilized towards various Capital Construction Projects, such as Residential Road Renewal locations, replacement of concrete and utility cut locations and repair and replacement of sidewalks in our maintenance and distress program. These mixtures will also be utilized for repairs and project locations administered by the Facilities and Water Works branches to enhance accessibility while maintaining and improving the pedestrian pathway infrastructure for our citizens and visitors to the City of Regina.
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s).
