Bored Culvert Installation and Other Work on Township Road 270

This project involves the installation of a bored culver system designed to facilitate the water flow while minimizing surface disruption and maintaining environmental integrity. The Scope of Work for this project shall include, but is not limited to, the following:

❑ Traffic accommodation
❑ Site isolation and water accommodation
❑ Total suspended solids (TSS) testing
❑ Excavation including supply and placement of geotextile filter fabric
❑ Supply and installation of culvert materials
❑ Backfill including backfill material testing
❑ Heavy rock riprap ditch repair and erosion protection including geotextile filter fabric
❑ Grouting of the abandoned culvert
❑ Roadway work
❑ New fence – Class B
❑ Permanent environmental protection devices

Each bidder, in submitting a tender, acknowledges that they have examined the area to be constructed under this Contract and is completely familiar with the scope and the intent of the work required. Each bidder further acknowledges that they have examined the site and surrounding area and are familiar with all conditions and/or restrictions which could affect or limit their operations due to such things as environmental constrains, public traffic and/or property of others.

Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall supply all materials necessary to complete the Work. The estimated quantities shown on the Drawings or contained in this document are provided for information purposes only. Quantity estimates are based on in-place dimensions to the neat lines shown on the

Drawings. Prior to submitting a bid, the Contractor shall review the quantities and satisfy themselves of the actual quantities required to complete the Work. A complete job is called for, therefore any labour, material, equipment, tool or incidental item not specifically
mentioned but necessary for completeness will be considered incidental to the Work and no separate or additional payment will be made.
