2024 Waynesboro CDBG (PE23164)

Sealed bids for the 2024 Waynesboro CDBG will be received until November 12th, 2025, 11 AM at 615 North Liberty Street, Waynesboro, GA 30830 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: Drainage improvements including 860-LF of 30¿ ADS-HP storm pipe, 1260-LF of ADS-HP 24¿ storm pipe, and 860-LF of ADS-HP 18¿ storm pipe. The project will also consist of 9 curb inlets, storm manhole, 23 grate inlets, pavement replacement, 850 LF of curb and gutter replacement, sediment control, and grassing. Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents are on file at Parker Engineering, LLC. The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as ¿utility contracting¿ in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a ¿Utility Contractor¿ and must also employ a ¿Utility Manager¿ certification holder who will have oversight of all the work. See Instruction to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier¿s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding is to be provided by CDBG which is administered by the DCA. Funding also provided by the City. This project is a Section 3 covered contract. Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. This project is subject to BABAA requirements.
