Description
Bridge File 364: The Contractor shall install a 2.2 m diameter CSP culvert by 36.00 m invert length carrying Range Road 271 over a tributary to Whelp Brook, located 5 km northwest of Lacombe (SW 1-41-27-4). The new culvert will be positioned on a 45-degree Right Hand Forward (RHF) skew to the road, centred at local Station 5+550.000.
Bridge File 1758: the Contractor shall install a 3.67 m diameter SPCSP culvert by 60.96 m Invert length carrying Range Road 250 over a tributary to Parlby Creek, located 2 km north of Clive (SW 6-41-24-4). The culvert will be positioned on a 45-degree Left Hand Forward (LHF) skew to the road, centred at local Station 5+550.000.
Bridge File 6989: the Contractor shall install a 2.0 m diameter CSP culvert by 37 m invert length carrying Township Road 415 over a Tributary to Whelp Brook, located 27 km northwest of Lacombe (NW 33-41-27-4). The culvert will be positioned on a 22-degree LHF skew to the road, centred at local Station 5+550.000.
The Contractor shall install the culverts in accordance with the site specific Design Sketches and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction.
For each bridge file, the Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
− Traffic accommodation
− Site isolation, turbidity monitoring, and fish capture and release
− Demolition and disposal of bridge structures
− Excavation, including supply and placement of geotextile filter fabric
− Supply and assembly of culvert materials
− Concrete end treatment including concrete testing and small bridge plaque (BF 1758 only)
− Backfill, including backfill material testing
− Heavy rock riprap erosion protection
− Roadway work
− Permanent environmental protection devices
