Description
The City of Saskatoon’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) removes grit and rags from the incoming sewage at the Grit and Screen Buildings located at 470 Whiteswan Drive. Removal of these materials is required to prevent clogging, wear and damage to wastewater treatment equipment downstream.
The City is currently seeking to contract out daily collection and transportation of these materials to be disposed of at a landfill on an “as and when required” basis.
