    Addendum 1 of 1: City of Statesboro Fire Station 3 RFP

    This shall serve as addendum 1 of 1 for this project. Please include a signed copy

    of this addendum with your sealed RFP submittal.

    1. New due date for submittal shall be April 3rd, 2025 at 3PM EST.

    2. Initial response to the RFP should include a layout design with measurements along with

    A conceptual drawing/depiction. Submittals should include base prices for each option along

    with clear addition prices and deductive prices for each proposed feature. The City should be

    able to construct a clear price for each option using these elements.

    3.Contractors can use your own pricing sheets as long as they are clearly constructed to allow for

    ease of forming an overall cost for each option offered.

    4. Contractors will be responsible to obtain and pay for all permits and construction fees required

    For this project.

    5.The City staff will handle all RFIs, Site visits, Change order approvals, Payment applications and

    and will attend monthly contractor meetings.

    6. Contractor shall be responsible for topographical/utility survey, geotechnical investigation and

    7. The access road is off City property and will not be included in this bid. The City will contract

    that out separately.

    8. Questions will be due for second addendum on March 17th, 2025 at 3PM EST.

    9. MFBE should be 20% of your lowest base bid and can be comprised of labor or materials or a

    combination of both.

    10.The 5% bid bond shall be 5% of the lowest base bid

    11. The bid shall include a unsuitable materials clause with pricing.

    12. Contractors shall take water to the meter box, Natural gas shall be taken to the building by

    the City and sewer lines taken to the sewer main tap point by the contractor. The City will complete the tap for the sewer line.

    13. Building shall be of brick or with brick accents and shall “match” surrounding facilities (Bank

    Social Security Office. Does not need to be exact, but should seem to blend at a glance.

    14. All earthwork shall be done by contractor.
