939552 Transit Advertising Services

The City of Edmonton (the City) invites bidders to submit bids for the provision of Transit Advertising Services. The Form of Agreement, located in the Form of Agreement Section in the SAP Ariba Platform, defines the Work the successful bidder will perform.

The City will evaluate and award contracts for each of the following categories:

Category 1: Bus Stop Shelters
Category 2: Bus, LRT and Facilities
Category 3: Bus Stop Benches

Bidders may submit a bid for all, one or any combination of the categories listed above. Bidders may be awarded more than one contract.

The intended term of Contract will be 10 years, commencing January 1, 2027. In its sole discretion, the City may extend the Term on the same terms and conditions for up to 2 additional year(s). The length of any extension(s) will be at the City’s sole discretion.

The City may enter into contracts with more than one bidder pursuant to this Sourcing Event.

Bidders to submit their bids only through the SAP Ariba platform and not to submit bids via any other mechanism including, but not limited to, post, courier, fax, e-mail, or orally, unless specifically requested by the City. Bids submitted through means other than the SAP Ariba platform, except as specifically allowed by the City, will not be accepted by the City.

All inquiries and questions, including technical inquiries and inquiries regarding the procedure of this Opportunity, are to be made via SAP Ariba Event Messages prior to the Close of Questions. Any verbal or written inquiries directed in any other way, other than in any bidders conference or pre-bid meeting held pursuant to this Opportunity, may not be considered. The City is not obligated to provide responses to any inquiries or questions it receives regarding this Opportunity.

The Preferred Bidder must provide at its own expense a performance bond that complies with the requirements, including the amount, in the Form of Agreement. The Preferred Bidder should use the attached Performance Bond template (under “Attachments to the Sourcing Event”), but regardless of the form used, the bond must be in a form acceptable to the City. The City may consider alternate forms of performance security in lieu of the performance bond. The bidder should advise the City of its proposed alternate form of performance security and obtain the City’s approval before submitting a bid.
