Quote must be valid for 60 days. Delivery required 180 days after receipt of order.

Please note: The University of Hawaii (“UH”) is required to comply with Hawaii Revised
Statutes (“HRS”) Chapter 103D, Hawaii Public Procurement Code. Specifically, under HRS
103D-310(c), UH must verify vendor compliance with all laws governing entities doing
business in the State. Complying with HRS 103D-310(c) involves obtaining the vendor’s
Certificate of Vendor Compliance, which may be obtained via Hawaii Compliance Express
(HCE). Information and requirements for the certificate can be found at the HCE website:

Quotes shall be for new models only; do not provide quotes on refurbished models.

The brand and model number identified in the Description of goods are used as a measure of
quality, style, appearance and performance. Any brand or model of comparable or better
quality and performance than that specified will be considered for acceptance by the
University upon submission of a written request for approval of the proposed substitution
with manufacturer\\\\\\\'s literature or brochures containing technical data and illustrations of
the proposed equipment being offered. All requests for substitutions shall be submitted
via email to Wayne Fredericks, wayneef@hawaii.edu no later than 11:00am on 12/10/25.
Submittals with insufficient information for evaluation shall be rejected. A bid which
includes a substitution shall be considered only if the substitution has been approved in
advance by the University. The University may reject or deny any substitution that it
may, in its discretion, deem unacceptable, and the findings in this regard shall be
accepted by the bidder as final and binding.

Substitutions, if any, will be posted via amendment to the SuperQuote on 12/12/25.

Any of the following may be grounds for disqualification:

1. Taking exception to any of the specifications, terms or conditions contained in the
RFQ.

2. Placing conditions on the furnishing of solicited goods or services.

3. Inclusion of a quotation or order form containing additional specifications, terms or
conditions.

4. Referencing external documents containing additional specifications, terms or
conditions.

Prices shall be F.O.B destination, including all labor, equipment, parts, tools, shipping,
transportation, delivery and installation costs to F.O.B. destination, insurance, warranty
costs, administrative support costs, and all applicable fees and taxes.

Delivery to the University of Hawaii, Kapiolani Community College, 4303 Diamond Head Road,
Honolulu, HI 96816.

Bid must include safety check, temporary registration, on-site training (operation,
maintenance and installed options) to UH Personnel.
