Solicitation Summary
The MTA requires the services of consultants to provide engineering and technical services necessary for the design of track projects, including preparation of contract documents, inspection, laboratory testing, track performance assessment for repairs and modifications, evaluation of maintenance criteria and improvement recommendations, instrumentation, research studies and other miscellaneous services for the MTA on an “as needed” work order basis. Specialty work may be required for tasks such as maintenance forecasting, development of mathematical models, dynamic analysis of track, metallurgical, elastomeric and petrographic analysis and various other work orders.
