year periods.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the above-mentioned project.

Sealed bids must be received in the Tenth Division Office at 716 W. Main Street in Albemarle NC by
2:00PM Wednesday August 5, 2026. Bids must be submitted on the official bid sheet, submitted with the
entire proposal, and display the following statement at the bottom left corner of the sealed envelope:
Quotation for "As Needed" Contract for Drainage and Grading Crew in Cabarrus,
Mecklenburg and Union Counties to be opened Wednesday August 5, 2026, at 2:00 P.M.
To reduce exposure to the COVID-19 virus, the Bid Opening will not be open to the public in the usual
manner. The Letting results will be broadcast via conference call at 2:00 PM on the bid opening day. You
may attend the conference call by dialing 1-888-251-2909 and entering 7653259 as the access code. The
results will also be uploaded to the Division 10 letting website as well.

NOTE TO BIDDERS: Due to the need for NCDOT personnel to separate all Proposals after the award of
the Contract, Division 10 is requesting that all bidders refrain from stapling these large proposals together
and instead use a Binder Clip to bind the bid package together. Your attention to this matter is greatly
appreciated.
