Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Mechanical Vegetation Removal Services, Franklin Falls Dam & Blackwater Dam, Franklin & Webster, NH.



THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform mechanical vegetation removal at nine (9) base item locations around the Franklin Falls Dam and Blackwater Dam totaling approximately 9.95 miles for roads and log booms, and 0.10 acres for outflow areas. In addition to base item locations there are five (5) option item locations totaling 12.87 miles. See Exhibits A through F for work locations. This work shall include the cutting of vegetation, mulching and chipping of brush shrubs and trees, and woody debris removal according to the site location and description. No cutting of standing trees that are greater than three (3) inches diameter at breast height. Work may be in wet areas, near open water, on riprap stone or steep slopes depending on the specific work site. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.



This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million.



ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
